Supported by China’s dual-carbon policies and the growing demand for green building materials, the market for inorganic artificial stone is experiencing steady growth. White cement-based artificial terrazzo, known for its zero VOCs, exceptional strength, and high whiteness, is increasingly replacing organic artificial stone. It has emerged as one of the key green materials for sustainable architecture and decoration sectors.
Aalborg White Cement Partners with Leading Stone Producer for Iconic landmark Project
Aalborg White has forged long-term collaborations with several leading producers in the stone industry. Inorganic artificial stone is now widely used in commercial and public spaces, including shopping malls, hotels, office buildings, airports, and railway stations, for both flooring and wall decorations.
Jiaxing Railway Station by MAD Architects
As one of the key partners with Aalborg White, Dongxing Group, has utilized its inorganic artificial stone in multiple iconic buildings. A standout example is the Jiaxing Railway Station, designed by famous MAD Architects, which is the first sunken ecological railway station in China. The station concourse showcases extensive use of inorganic terrazzo panels and elements across its floors, walls, planters, seating, and ceilings. As a key raw material, Aalborg White Cement contributes to the space with refined aesthetic appeal.

Macau M8 Commercial Complex
Another remarkable building based on inorganic artificial stone is the Macau M8 Commercial Complex, located in the heart of Macau’s historic district. Spanning approximately 80,000 square feet, the complex features a 2,138-square-meter facade. Its five-story exterior is clad in ultra-thin inorganic terrazzo panels in a white tone, including large double-curved and custom-shaped panels. Indoors, the inorganic terrazzo is extensively applied to flooring, walls, restrooms, the "Tree of Life" installation, staircases, and handrails, enhancing the space with a distinctive artistic touch. The ultra-thin panels boast high flexural and compressive strength thanks to the superior and consistent performance of Aalborg White Cement, effectively reducing the risk of cracking or breakage.
